Black Friday Drop-Off Camps for Kids in Westchester

Whether you have to work or want to shop, there are plenty of fun options for kids on Black Friday that don’t include getting elbowed over discounted Melissa and Doug toys. Get going on those Santa presents without a reluctant child in tow by signing up for a Black Friday mini camp.

We’ve gathered the drop-off camps being held in Westchester, many of which offer both half- and full-day options, allowing you to choose the schedule that fits your needs. Sportime – Elmsford
Campers aged 5 through 12 will play everything from hide and seek to laser tag, with video games, dance competitions, ping pong and more in between. Cost is $60 for the entire day; hours are from 9am to 6pm. Lunch is included, as are morning and afternoon snacks.   

The Little Gym – Scarsdale
Kids as young as 2.5 can be dropped off The Little Gym for 9am-12pm, 12-3-pm or 9am-3pm sessions. Pricing ranges from $55 to $120, depending on length of session. Member receive a discount, as do siblings. 

Great Play of Scarsdale – Scarsdale
Kids ages 3 to 8 will play, climb and tumble at Great Play’s Black Friday mini camp, held from 1:30-3:30pm. Both members and non-members are permitted, but registration is required to reserve a spot. Pricing ranges from $32 to $36. A small snack will be served.

Hooperstown – Mount Vernon
Shoot hoops, run drills and play games like “Steal the Bacon” from 9am to 3pm. A lunch break will be held from noon to 1pm. $60.

Groovy on Grand Design Studios – Croton-on-Hudson
Kids ages 8 and older can get started on holiday gifting at this drop-in two-hour workshop. You can tie-dye a scarf, design a tablet case, sew a fleece throw pillow, make a dog tee or more. Ages 7 and younger are welcome to come but must have a parent accompany them. The program is open from 11am to 5pm; expect to spend around two hours. 

Fenom Fitness – Harrison
Kids as young as 3 can participate in Fenon’s $75 mini camp, which runs from 12-3pm and will include team sports, races, obstacle courses and fitness activities
