Drop-In Workshops for Teens: Screenwriting
INT: Academy Museum
CLOSE ON: this month's drop-in workshop, with a focus on screenwriting!
The Education team invites teens to join museum educators on the third Friday of every month to be inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and screenings, explore the museum, hang out, and get creative.
May’s Drop-in Workshop explores the origins of a film's story, focusing on the craft of screenwriting. Teens can learn about the importance of and what goes into the creative process of screenwriting.
Event meets on Friday, May 17, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level. Workshops are designed for teens ages 14 and up. Snacks are provided.
All workshops are free with museum admission and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Museum admission is free for youth ages 17 and under.
