Character meals at Disney World are a unique and magical experience to include on your next Orlando vacation. At these special Walt Disney World dining experiences, kids (and kids at heart) can meet their favorite Disney characters from movies and TV. To help you plan your Disney trip, we've put together a guide to the best character meals at Disney World.

1. 1900 Park Fare—Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Wish Makers Enchanted Dining at 1900 Park Fare offers a buffet breakfast and dinner experience in a fun, carousel-themed setting. Meet beloved Disney characters like Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Princess Tiana as they visit your table during the meal. Enjoy tasty dishes like eggs Benedict, Tiana’s Gumbo, and kid-friendly favorites like Mickey waffles and mac and cheese. 

2. Be Our Guest—Magic Kingdom

Be Our Guest Restaurant serves French-inspired food in a magical setting based on Beauty and the Beast. Located in Beast’s Castle, it offers lunch and dinner in three themed rooms: the elegant ballroom; the dark and mysterious West Wing; and the romantic Rose Gallery. Each room is beautifully decorated to match the story. Although this is not technically a character dining experience, guests can catch a glimpse of the Beast himself.

3. Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch— 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Join Lilo, Stitch, and friends for a family-style character breakfast with a Polynesian twist. Enjoy American breakfast favorites like scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, ham with pineapple, and Stitch and Mickey waffles. While you dine, Disney characters stop by for photos and autographs. It's a fun and memorable experience for the whole ʻohana!

4. Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends—Topolino's Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort

Start your day with a magical breakfast at this scenic rooftop restaurant offering a prix-fixe menu. While dining, guests can meet Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy, dressed in unique, stylish outfits exclusive to Topolino’s Terrace. The meal begins with fresh pastries and features entrée options such as Quiche Gruyère, Sour Cream Waffles, or classic eggs. 

5. Chef Mickey’s—Disney’s Contemporary Resort 

Chef Mickey’s offers a fun buffet meal with visits from Mickey and his friends in a bright, cheerful setting. Guests can enjoy views of Bay Lake and a colorful 90-foot mural. Breakfast includes favorites like Mickey waffles, eggs, and cinnamon rolls, while dinner features NY strip loin, salmon, and tasty desserts. Each table also gets a special signed card from the characters!

6. Chip 'n' Dale's Harvest Feast—Garden Grill at Epcot

Dine at this rotating restaurant while viewing scenes from Epcot’s Living with the Land, like a rainforest, farmhouse, and prairie. Kids can interact with Chip, Dale, and other Disney friends, including Mickey and Pluto. Meals are served family-style, all-you-can-eat. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Many of the vegetables are even grown right in Disney’s Living with the Land greenhouses!

7. Cinderella's Royal Table—Magic Kingdom

Fairytale Dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table offers a magical experience inside Cinderella Castle, starting with a royal welcome from Cinderella herself. Guests then enjoy a meal in a storybook setting, complete with medieval décor and views of Fantasyland. While dining, you’ll meet Disney Princesses for photos and autographs. The menu features royal dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus elegant desserts to end your fairytale feast.

8. Crystal Palace—Magic Kingdom

At Crystal Palace, enjoy a variety of American favorites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, while Winnie the Pooh and friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood stop by for hugs, photos, autographs, and even a parade. The buffet features carved meats, fresh pastas, salads, pastries, and desserts. Guests are encouraged to stay for 90 minutes to meet all the characters during this must-do dining experience.

9. Disney Junior Play n' Dine/Minnie's Seasonal Dining—Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios

Enjoy Disney Junior Play n' Dine breakfast through where kids can meet their favorite Disney Junior characters (Vampirina, Doc McStuffins) while enjoying a fun, interactive meal. The breakfast includes pastries, an omelet station, Mickey waffles, plus unique dishes like salmon and bagel casserole and brioche French toast. During certain seasons of the year (think Halloween, winter holidays), join Minnie’s Seasonal Dining for lunch and dinner, featuring Minnie and friends dressed for each season with themed music, décor, and a festive buffet. Starting October 12, 2025, Minnie and her pals will also appear at breakfast (in place of Disney Junior Play n' Dine).

10. Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy & Pals—Ravello at Four Seasons Resort Orlando

Start your day with Goofy and his friends while enjoying traditional breakfast favorites, available on select dates at Four Seasons Resort Orlando. A photographer is on-site to capture your special moments with the characters. This experience is available Thursday, Saturday, and select Tuesday mornings, from 7am-11am. Reservations required.

11. Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast—Cape May Cafe at Disney's Beach Club Resort

Join Minnie Mouse and friends at Cape May Cafe for Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast, where they're dressed in fun beach outfits. Enjoy a tasty breakfast with favorites like Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage while snapping photos and collecting autographs. Characters appear during breakfast, and appearances may vary.

12. Princess Storybook Dining—Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is the perfect destination for princess dining, offering a royal meal inside a medieval castle. Guests can meet a variety of Disney princesses as they make their way through the dining room. Enjoy Norwegian-inspired dishes like meatballs and grilled salmon for lunch and dinner, all served family-style. With a magical atmosphere and delicious food, it's a must-do experience for princes and princess fans of all ages.

13. Story Book Dining at Artist Point—Disney's Wilderness Lodge

Story Book Dining at Artist Point offers a magical dinner where you can meet Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and even the Evil Queen in an enchanted forest setting. Enjoy a prix fixe menu with shared appetizers, tasty entrées, and fun desserts, including a “Poison” apple mousse. Kids have their own menu with favorites like grilled chicken or fish.

14. Tusker House Restaurant—Animal Kingdom

Step into a safari-themed restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom and enjoy a fun character dining experience. Donald Duck and friends stop by in their safari gear while you enjoy a buffet filled with family favorites. Breakfast features items like Mickey and Simba waffles and omelettes, while lunch and dinner offer dishes like Tandoori chicken, green curry shrimp, and braised beef tajine. Kid-friendly options include fruit, yogurt, and mac n cheese.
